Asu Naji Water Aspect

Captain of a mid-sized merchant ship, "The East", Asu is sarcastic but kind. He tries his hardest to keep up a 'tough-guy' persona, but when around children and those he cares about he can be caring and sweet.

Asu tends to avoid conversation, as he is mute as well as an introvert. He mainly converses via Sign Language. When anyone shows an interest in talking with him, and are able to understand him either through Sign or written-word, Asu can talk for hours, but he will rarely initiate conversation

He is a recovering alcoholic and gambling addict who chose to continue smoking, stating "he needed at least one escape". He refuses to smoke around kids.

Asu grew up in the city of Ayfulin, Ayksia, in a well-to-do household. He was primarily raised by his Grandmother, as his parents captained the ship he now owns. His parents died in a plague when he was 18, the same plague that stole his voice.
